Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Nūra Clinic (“Nūra”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.thenuraclinic.com (the “Site”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

We operate in the United Kingdom and follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Under PECR, we may only place non-essential cookies on your device with your consent.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and session storage. They allow a site to remember your actions and preferences, to function correctly, and — where you consent — to measure how it is being used.

2. The categories of cookies we use

We group the technologies we use into the categories below. You can accept or decline non-essential categories at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our footer or the button at the bottom of this page.

2.1 Strictly necessary

These are required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They are normally only set in response to actions you take — such as recording your cookie preference, securing a form submission, or remembering that you have dismissed a banner. They do not identify you personally.

  • nura-cookie-consent (first-party, local storage) — stores your cookie choice so the consent banner is not shown again on every visit. Retention: 12 months from the date of your choice.
  • Form anti-abuse — our contact and waitlist forms are submitted via Web3Forms, which may use short-lived technical identifiers to prevent automated abuse.

2.2 Functional

Functional cookies remember choices you make (for example, a preferred language or region) to give you a more personalised experience. We do not currently use functional cookies that require consent.

2.3 Analytics

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. They are only set if you accept “all cookies”. We do not currently load any analytics or performance scripts on this Site. If we add them in future, we will update this policy and they will remain off until you give consent.

2.4 Marketing

We do not use marketing, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this Site.

3. Third-party services that may set cookies

Some pages link to or load tools provided by third parties. When you use them, those providers act as separate data controllers under their own privacy and cookie notices:

  • AesthetiDocs— used for clinical consultation booking when you click “Book”. Opens in a separate tab. See the AesthetiDocs privacy notice for details.
  • Web3Forms — used to deliver your message when you submit a contact or waitlist form. See the Web3Forms privacy policy for details.
  • Google Fonts— typography is served from Google’s font CDN. No cookies are set by this service.
  • Instagram— only if you choose to follow our social link. Meta’s own cookie policy applies once you leave the Site.

4. Your choices

When you first visit the Site, you will see a banner asking whether you accept non-essential cookies. You can:

  • Accept all — allow strictly necessary cookies plus any future analytics cookies we may introduce.
  • Decline — only strictly necessary cookies will be used. The Site will continue to work as normal.

You can change your decision at any time using the button below or by clearing your browser’s storage for this Site.

You can also block or delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Guidance is available at aboutcookies.org. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site or to the cookies we use. The “last updated” date at the top of this page tells you when it was most recently revised. Where changes are significant, we will ask for your consent again.

6. Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle personal data, please contact us at [email protected].

You also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
